We’re Back! No, REALLY This Time!

Ok folks it looks like our transmitter is actually back on and working again after our recent maintenance had discovered more serious problems than we had anticipated.

Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused.

And We’re Back! (Not Quite)

I was just notified that we are back on the air! We apologize for the inconvenience our down time has caused.

Unfortunately, living outside of our broadcast range and having no way of being able to confirm, I mistakenly interpreted the update request I received earlier to mean that we were back when we’re still down. My apologies. Again. We’re still awaiting repairs to be made, and will update you on this situation periodically.

Transmitter Maintenance

Update: Things at our transmitter were a bit more serious than we anticipated and as a result our transmitter will be offline until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience this poses.
The transmitter will be down for repairs between 7 and 9pm tonight. This means our radio broadcast will not be heard during this period.

However, all of our programming will continue as scheduled and can be heard online at http://www.wxou.org/listen .

And We’re Back!

We just restored the audio stream, so tune in now!

Important: We’re Having Technical Difficulties!

As you may or may not have noticed over the last 18 hours or so, our Shoutcast server, which provides our online listening stream, has been down. We had hoped that a very minor upgrade would have disrupted the stream for 20 minutes or less, however, the machine would not power on afterward. We are working towards resolving the issues and possibly come up with another solution shortly.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, and will provide another update soon.

Happy Holidays!

The staff of WXOU would like to extend a wish for the happiest of holidays to all of our visitors and guests! We look forward to seeing what the new year will bring to us all, and look forward to sharing it all with you!

And We’re Back!

WXOU is back on the air broadcasting at 88.3fm in Auburn Hills, MI!

Thank you all so much for your patience and continued patronage!
