  1. It might just be because Im looking it up from my phone, but none of the url’s are letting me listen to your program. Just thought you should know

  2. Tuned in and rocking out! Keep up the awesome tracks, man! By the way, “Who Wrote Holden Caulfield?” is the best song from Kerplunk, hands down!

  3. Robbie Rio’s Show is amazing. This guy has a lot of talent. He produces all of his beats if you guys haven’t noticed. His music is perfect.

  10. I hope WXOU has it’s transmitter fixed soon or it gets replaced with a stronger one.

This is one rain cloud that could turn into opportunity! It might not, but it’d be great if it was. I love this station, all stations like this deserve so much better!!

Your everything radio should be, keep up the good work despite this hit!

  11. Dropping by to say hello. I was a jock/news guy at WOUX (630 a.m.) in 1979-83 and learned a great deal. Been all over the world since then. Learn and enjoy while you can.

  20. Love the girls vs. boys list. So true on all accounts! Makes me think of the poem: Girls are sugar and spice, and everything nice… Boys are snakes and snails and puppy dog tails. I love their differences! Ribbons and bows, and big deep mud holes, wouldn’t have it any other way. Love the last few song choices, thanks enjoying it.

  21. Thanks for the dedication son…you’ll be in my heart always too! One of my favorite songs of all time. Thanks.

  22. Just started listening to this for the first time. Not the biggest rap fan but to each their own. Love to hear some classic rock (Queen, Rush, ACDC, etc), alternative or whatever. Just want to know if I can apply to work in WXOU online. And if so, where?
    Good work everyone.

  23. Hey guys. You guys have no idea how happy that there is a radio talk period on WXOU. I love talk radio. The only thing, there is a echo or a small playback in the room because everything that you guys say, it comes back up a second or two later. Thanks again guys for a great talk.

  24. How about “Centerfield” (put me in coach) by CCR and “Politician” by Cream
off of Wheels of Fire. Centerfield is played at the BHF all the time.

Might be rehearsing tonight while you are on but put them in TG.

  25. FYI…David Lee Marks is an original member. He played on The Beach Boys first 4 albums and his name is on the very first contract they signed with Capitol Records. Bruce Johnston joined the group in 1965 just in time to help record their rock masterpiece “Good Vibrations”

  26. Nice write up. I’m studying something like this here at Arkansas Tech University. It’s truly stimulating to discover
content from other writers and see a little bit from their
source. I’d love to incorporate some of this material on my own site (if you don’t mind).
And of course, I’ll post a link to your site at wxou.org on my own blog. Thanks for sharing.

  27. A fellow blogger here, found your site via Fork, and
I have a piece of advice: write more. Literally, it feels as though
you depended on the clip to make your point. It’s obvious you know your stuff, so why not use your knowledge to write something more considerable and keep the video as something supplementary (if there at all)?

  28. I don’t know if it’s just me or if perhaps everyone else experiencing problems with your blog.
It appears like some of the text on your posts are running off the screen.
Can someone else please provide feedback and let me know
if this is happening to them too? This may be a issue with my web browser because I’ve had this happen before. Thank you

  29. I’m impressed, I have to admit. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and engaging, and without a
doubt, you have hit the nail on the head. The issue is something that not
enough people are speaking intelligently about.
Now i’m very happy that I came across this in my hunt for something regarding this.

  30. I’m a superannuated FM vulture from high atop the foothills of Bald Mountain, got recordings of the station back to the 90’s. Remember the ‘Audio Despot?’ I’m interested to know about Geoff Steyer, or is it Jeff Steier? Maybe Andrew could clue me in. I’ve got CD’s with Jeff’s take on Sean Lee, Korn, Frumpi, etc. Titled one CD Clutchy and the Swift Puerco. Just tell me he’s doing well and still collecting them Awesome Sounds. All hail WXOU! All hail the analog FM waveform!
