Interview by: News director Erin Ben-Moche

Cast members from Oakland University’s production of “A Chorus Line” came into the studio Wednesday to discuss the blood, sweat and tears that went into creating the iconic show which opens Thursday.

Triple threats (performers who can sing, dance and act) AlissaBeth Morton and Joey Fontana explained the rehearsal process and character research that went into ACL as well as reminisced about their favorite moments.

“It’s really important when you’re cast in “A Chorus Line” to know that you are stepping into a time capsule piece,” said Morton. “It’s the first time that dancers truly had a voice on Broadway.”
