Elizabeth Smart, kidnapping survivor and activist, took the time to tell her story and answer questions at Oakland University on Thursday, March 21st. She explains what inspired her to focus on survival during her abduction, including faith and family. Then she elaborates on her adjustment while returning home to her family after 9 months. Since she has written two books and is choosing to live life to the fullest.
