McDonald’s will be expanding its breakfast menu based off of a costumer’s take (McDonald’s Twitter). For years only regular restaurant goers are exposed to the variety offered on secret menus at McDonald’s and various others including Inside Out Burger and Starbucks. Secret menus give frequent customers first dibs at unique food options before they trickle into the pubic, but McDonald’s just found one customer created secret food that was so popular it had to be shared.
The Breakfast Triple Stack will be the first new option added to the breakfast menu in years according to Today. The sandwich will include two sausages, two bacon, egg, and two pieces of cheddar cheese; the contents of the sandwich can then be topped off with any of their usual carbs: biscuits, bagels, or a sweet McGriddle cake.
Although delicious sounding the new treat will only be available nationwide for a limited amount of time beginning November 1st (Today). By modifying another breakfast sandwich you can recreate the new item though if you fall in love.
McDonald’s has yet to release the nutrition information about the Breakfast Triple Stack, but their online Nutrition Calculator did give some insight about the snack. The Breakfast Triple Stack will contain 970 calories, 50 grams of fat, 90 grams of carbohydrates, 38 grams of protein and 2,530 milligrams of sodium.
