This Just In: The Village of Rochester Hills Starts off the Summer Season with Free Activities in July.

To avoid wordiness and and an annoying reading time, I am instead putting down the list of events happening in the city of Rochester during the month of July. The events are as follows:


Wednesday, July 2

  • Location: Festival Park

  • Includes free interactive music classes for children ranging from birth to five years, that encourage speech and social development.


Monday, July 7

  • Music & Me with Ms. Calissa from Sing. Play. Speak.

  • Theme: "ANIMAL JAMS"

  • Time: 10-10:45am

  • Location: Festival Park

  • Includes free interactive music classes for children ranging from birth to five years, that encourage speech and social development.


Wednesday, July 9

  • Live Music from UC3 Trio Band

  • Time: 5-8pm

  • Location: Festival Park

  • Alongside the music will be lawn games and activities for everyone to enjoy while the performers are playing.


Saturday, July 19

  • Mobile Dueling Pianos

  • Time: 6-8pm

  • Location: Festival Park

  • While it's a musical performance, it's also a comedy show. Audience members can request any song or any genre of music and the players will do their best to reenact it.

  • Time(s): 10-11am + 6-7pm

  • Location: Festival Park

  • Do you like bugs? Well I bet they like you too. Both children and adults are invited to attend these sessions to learn how un-scary some bugs are.


Friday, July 25

  • Live Music from Sheila Landis and Rick Matle

  • Time: 5-8pm

  • Location: Festival Park

  • Alongside the music will be lawn games and activities for everyone to enjoy while the performers play.


Saturday, July 26 & Sunday, July 27

  • Village Fine Art Fair

  • Time(s): Saturday- 10am-8pm / Sunday- 12-5pm

  • With 70 artists from around the United States coming to showcase their art, this festival is having its 20th anniversary this year.


Monday, July 28

  • Theme: "PAJAMA WEEK"
