WXOU Now Hiring: 2025-26

Are you interested in the behind the scenes of WXOU? We are now accepting applications for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Starting at $15/hr, all current Oakland University students are eligible.

Available positions include: (Full job descriptions are available on Handshake.)

Program Director - Assist the scheduling and production of student-led live shows.

Assistant Program Director - Help with the training of student-led live shows, as well as the production of our podcasts.

News Director - Curate and review the articles written for our website.

Promotions Director - Create content for our social media pages, as well as moderate PSAs being played on air.

Music Director - Form the sound of WXOU by updating the stations music library, and keep in contact with music promoters.

Events Director - Plan events hosted by WXOU.

Sports Director - Schedule the WXOU Sports Broadcasting schedule.

Graphic Designer - Design posters and promotional imagery for general station needs.
