After a temporary change of venue in its schedule, which welcomed a trip to Cleveland, OH to face Cleveland State, the Golden Grizzlies returned home to the OU Credit Union O'rena to take on Horizon League rival IUPUI. Oakland extended its win streak to two in a row with a statement 3-0 win over the Jaguars.

The match got off to an electrifying start in the 1st, with both teams exchanging points, whether it be off kills or opponent errors. This trend continued throughout the set, with IUPUI eventually getting a somewhat comfortable lead in what it thought would be late in the set.

Oakland stormed back from this 24-21 deficit, though, despite facing match point for three separate serves. The Golden Grizzlies effort would ultimately see it take the set 27-25.

The 2nd set began with both teams in a heavyweight fight for the set. Momentum shifted early for both teams, but the Golden Grizzlies finally took command of the set at the 20-point mark, with a lead they did not relinquish for the remainder of the set, Oakland rode its newfound momentum to a 25-21 set victory.

The 3rd set was firmly Oakland's, capitalizing off IUPUI errors and playing the Golden Grizzlies' trademark stellar defense. Oakland finished the set 25-20 and the set 3-0.

Ainsley Guse led the Golden Grizzlies with 10 kills.

Oakland Volleyball now sits at 17-11 on the season and 11-5 within the Horizon League, closing out its season with two road games against Green Bay and Milwaukee, respectively.

This was WXOU's final broadcast of the fall season. WXOU begins its basketball broadcast season on November 14th, as the Oakland men's basketball team takes on the visiting Bowling Green Falcons at home. TuneIn to catch all the action!
