The 2023 Super Bowl was quite the night as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in an unforgettable football game. The game was good and all, however that wasn’t the true highlight of the evening.

Rihanna made her return to music for the first time in nearly seven years. The nine-time Grammy winner performed the annual half time show and it was nothing but pure entertainment as she sang hit after hit. The set started with “B**** Better Have My Money” which was one of her big songs that she released prior to taking her hiatus from the world of music. The superstar performed a medley of 12 songs in total. Other hits that we part of her set included “Umbrella”, “Only Girl (In The World)”, “Rude Boy”, “Pour it Up”, “All of the Lights”, “Work”, “Wild Thoughts”, “Where Have You Been”, “We Found Love” “Run This Town” and concluded her set with “Diamonds.”

The “In the Round” staging allowed viewers to glimpse of all the action. Rihanna several dancers on stage with her throughout the performance and they didn’t stop until the final song. One major part of the set design that stood out was the fact that there were platforms hanging from the celling of the stadium. Rihanna and her dancers took rides on the platforms over the course of half time which was truly an original part and made her half time show really stand out.

Over course of the performance, spectators were questioning of Rihanna is pregnant again. She did look pregnant as she was performing was this was what started the questioning. Once her performance came to an end, it was announced on social media that she and her rapper boyfriend, A$AP Rocky are expecting baby #2. No word on how far along she is, or the gender of the baby were announced. The A-List couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy this past May of 2022.
