The Couplet Collection #5
A Poem by Julian Enghauser
Resting upon a vanishing edge,
eyes bask upon twinkling lights.
Glistening under moonlight,
the architectural pores of a cityscape.
Wind chills graze lukewarm water,
as Van Gogh-like warping of legs swim
above neon lights.
Colorine tears of watery joy
slide off snuggled shoulders,
freefalling into cozy darkness.
A Poem by Julian Enghauser
Cradled by warm darkness,
upon the frosted window,
my gaze strikes
upon visions of blue,
draped across dead branches.
Stars of joyous blue bulbs,
although remain seasonal,
are always seen with allure.
Jewelry for Mother Nature,
beautifying her deadened arms.
