We Want YOU For WXOU News

Do you like news? Well so do we! 

Here at WXOU, we don’t just broadcast radio, we do so much more, including the news. While we don’t currently have a news team intact, you can still write for WXOU news. The process is simple, you (lovely writer) send your fully written article ideas in Google Doc format to newsdirector@wxou.org, with a message along the lines of “hello, this is an article for the WXOU website” in the subject line. Once you’ve sent it, Assistant News Directors Paul and Harmony will answer your email and work on revising and editing your document. Make sure to include anything important in your document or it will NOT be posted on the website (this includes pictures, names, dates, or other important information). Also please note, NO profanity, obscene content, or hateful content will be posted on the website, and if we find any such thing in your writing, it will be REMOVED, and you will be sent an email regarding this content :). Please make sure you explain to the Assistant Directors how you want your article formatted and posted as well.
